Chelation Therapy and External Counter Pulsation (ECP).
Are you interested in a natural approach to heart disease?
Symptoms we associate with aging may be a sign of poor circulation. We have gathered more information about safe and effective treatments for vascular disease.
Symptoms of poor circulation are often a hallmark of the ongoing of arteriosclerosis or hardening of the arteries. Once you have been diagnosed with a vascular disease, there are several different treatment methods available to you.
- Surgery - which may be potentially dangerous, very expensive and many times is repeated again after several years.
- Medications - used to help with the symptoms but does not necessarily help correct the problem.
- The natural approach which includes dietary changes, oral vitamins and minerals, regular exercise, stress management, and chelation therapy, and/or External Counter Pulsation (ECP)
Do you have:
- Angina
- Chest Pains/Tightness
- Shortness of Breath
- Tingling in Extremities
- Cold Hands or Feet
- Swishing Sound in Ears
- Vision Problems
- Loss of Memory
- Swollen Ankles
- History of Heart Disease
These conditions could be warning signs of vascular disease. |

As we age obvious changes occur which are visible in the mirror such as wrinkling of the skin and graying of our hair. We lose muscle mass and tend to gain weight. These changes are obvious but not very quantifiable. It turns out that other subtle changes correlate with our general health and degree of fitness which are measurable. One of these is the best to beat variation in our heart rate. When we are young we are highly adaptable. We can move quickly and change directions while running with ease. Our autonomic nervous system is fine tuned to allow us to adapt to changing conditions by increasing or decreasing our heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate and other functions we are not even aware of.

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) represents one of the most confusing and controversial issues in medicine today. For a number of years the pharmaceutical industry has claimed that estrogen and other prescription hormones prevent fractures, reduce heart disease and enhance cerebral function (prevent senility). Recently a number of published scientific articles have countered these claims. In addition, it is now clear that the most prescribed HRT, conjugated estrogen from horses, cause cancer of the breast and uterus. It is also now known that synthetic progestins such as Provera may also contribute to cancer causation. These hormones also have numerous other side effects.

A new measurement of Arteriosclerosis
At last there is available a non-invasive, inexpensive, reliable method to get an estimate of how much our arteries have become stiff and hardened. The Waters Integrative Health Center has acquired a Cardiovision Arterial Stiffness monitoring device. This computerized machine takes 6,000 readings at a blood pressure cuff on the upper arm and processes the data to come up with an estimate of how hard or sclerotic a person’s arteries have become.
