He has studied a diversity of alternative and innovative therapies both in the United States and Europe. These have included orthomolecular medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy, neural therapy, prolotherapy, endocrinology and trace element biology. He is board certified by the American Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology. Dr. Waters resides in rural La Valle, Wisconsin where he enjoys gardening, fishing, reading, his horses and the outdoors. He has three daughters, Sarah, Rebecca and Bayley, and two grand-daughters, Carley and Chloe with whom he also enjoys spending time. |

Robert S. Waters, MD received his bachelor’s degree in biology cum laude from the University of Illinois. He went on to do graduate research in Genetics there and then enrolled in medical studies. He was awarded the Doctor of Medicine degree in 1976. After completing his degree, he served a general and orthopedic surgery internship through the Loyola-Hines Affiliated Hospitals program and began to practice general and industrial medicine. He gradually became interested in the use of nutritional principles as the main focus of his medical practice.
